Brad Petersen is a 20-year veteran of the Cottage Grove Police Department in Minnesota.  During his career, he has been a field training officer, tactics instructor, training coordinator, drug task force detective, and patrol sergeant before being promoted to his current Patrol Captain position.  He held several roles on the Washington County SWAT team and retired in 2024 as the Assistant Commander. While working for CGPD, he served 10 years in the MNARNG as a cavalry officer.  Also, he instructs and consults nationally for PepperBall.
